An Urban Hike

Autumnal weather is my absolute favourite, the crisp air and warm, bright sunshine just calls out for layers, jumpers and boots. These are my favourite pieces of clothing and ankle boots are my go to shoe for autumn and winter, I'm so glad I can finally invest in a few new pairs to see me through the season!

To make the most of the crisp autumn weather Laura, Rebecca and I tried out part of Regatta's Urban Hike last weekend after indulging in a huge Sunday roast at Hawksmoor, which was all new levels of amazing but definitely made us want to burn a few calories afterwards.

For this look I mixed up a range of simple pieces that make up my autumn staples including a cosy COS polo neck jumper, Finery shift dress and Dune ankle boots with more technical outdoor coat from Regatta* (see here). It felt like the combination of every day and outdoorsy clothing worked for an urban hike.

You can download Regatta's Urban Hike maps here, there's one for Manchester and London, they're a great way of exploring your city and getting a bit of exercise after over indulging! Now we need to complete the rest of the hike, perhaps it will become a bit of a weekend ritual.
