I'm on a mission, and it's a delicious one. My quest is to find the best brunch in Manchester, and so far, Trof in the Northern Quarter is winning.
We've been before for breakfast but we'd never sampled anything more than a full English (mostly because the sausages are spot on), but this time we had a little longer to spare so thought we'd explore the menu further. The menu is kind of incredible, it's a list of food that could cure a hangover, all comforting and hearty.
I chose the Avocado and Feta smash (with added grilled halloumi because I'm a bad person) and Joe went for his usual; Eggs Benedict. I am obsessed with avocado so if it's not done properly I won't be happy, thankfully the Avocado and Feta smash was amazing, the avocado blended so well with the feta, chilli slices and soft sourdough bread. Joe's Eggs Benedict was great too, he wolfed it down!
I'd thoroughly recommend popping in for some avocado and eggs if you're in need of a brunch hit, it is delish!
