Jet Set

After what seems like minutes but has actually been weeks, the time has come to start packing for our holiday! We're heading to Essaouira in Morocco and I cannot wait for a bit of rest and relaxation, but before that lies just over a week of mad prep at work and the inevitable last minute packing. I'm determined not to do what I usually do and have already made a start on collecting pieces together to make sure we're a little more prepared.
First things first, passports. We both have leather passport covers to keep them nice and safe, mine an Aspinal of London number to match my handbag and Joe's a classic burgundy one. I'm also so excited to use my Sophie Hulme striped clutch from Coggles for the first time, I bought it in winter but it seemed perfect to save for a holiday.

I'll be taking my Kindle full of books to keep me busy, I absolutely love reading on holiday and get through so many books, but I'm taking my Big Bad Book of Bill Murray that Joe got me for Christmas so I can read it from cover to cover uninterrupted. I'm also planning on taking my yoga mat to fit in some beach yoga sessions, it would be rude not to!

We have a habit of getting matching white shoes every time we go on holiday, last year was Superga this year is Converse*! They're the perfect shoes for wearing to explore, comfortable and versatile, they'll see us through plenty of walking around the city and slipping on to head to the pool.

My Ray-Bans are usually dedicated for protecting my eyes while I'm driving but finally they'll get to see sunnier climes! I absolutely love the shape, I was torn between these and Wayfarers but I'm so glad I plumped for these in the end.

I can't wait to get packing! Let me know if you have any tips for visiting Essaouira too, I'd love to hear them!
