Lookfantastic Beauty Box November #LFBeautyBox Review

I have to admit, I was kind of disappointed when I opened the November edition of the Lookfantastic Beauty Box, I think it's because I was SO impressed with the October box that it would have had to have been pretty amazing to measure up.

Although my initial reaction wasn't overly impressed, the products in the box have grown on me in the week or so I've been introducing them into my routine. Pretty much all of the products have also come in handy (it's like they knew what I needed before I did, spooky...) for my trip to Marrakech this weekend (I'm actually on my way now, yay!) as they're all hand luggage safe sizes.

So on second thought, maybe I shouldn't judge the box too quickly, the value for money is amazing seeing as they're only £15 and they do solve a lot of my current beauty problems. Let's take a closer look at what you get in the latest #LFBeautyBox...

Bellápierre Cosmetics Lipstick in Ruby
Full Size (RRP £11.99)

You can't complain with a full size product in a beauty box, especially one that costs nearly the same price as the whole box! This Bellápierre mineral lipstick is smooth and silky when applied and the colour is strong and long lasting. I'm a matte lipstick girl when it comes to classic reds but this is a really good shade for a more moisturising option.

Dr. PawPaw Tinted Ultimate Red Balm
10m Sample Size worth £2.78 (full size RRP £6.95)

This is probably my favourite product in the November box, I love tinted lip balm and this Dr. PawPaw limited edition number is my current go to. It will also be great while I'm away this weekend as it's a multi purpose product (lips, cheeks and highlighting) so it means I can travel a little lighter! This will be a handbag essential this winter for sure.

Kebelo Enriching Hair Masque
30ml Sample Size worth £3.11 (full size RRP £10.35)

When I first opened the box I wasn't overjoyed that there was a hair mask in it, but after seeing my split ends earlier in the week (damn you weather!) I'm very grateful it was in there! It's a rich formula so you only need a small amount, it's packed with enriching ingredients like argan oil and guar sugar. Perfect for protecting and restoring your hair, whatever the weather.

Ren V-Cense Youth Vitality Day Cream
15ml Sample Size worth £8.40 (full size RRP £28)

If you've read my recent skincare posts you're probably aware that I've been trying a few moisturisers to find my favourite so here's another one to add to my routine! Thankfully it's anti-ageing so it's ideal for my skin now that I'm another step closer to 30... It's another one for my holiday bag!

Ole Henriksen Empower Foaming Milk Cleanser
30ml Sample Size worth £3.16 (full size RRP £22)

Another product to add to my collection of things I didn't know I needed but totally do, my normal cleanser ran out a couple of days ago so it was Ole Henriksen to the rescue. Unfortunately because it's a foaming cleanser, it doesn't really work with my Foreo but it's great for using in the morning after a gentle exfoliator.

Korres Guava Shower Gel
40ml Sample Size worth £1.28 (full size RRP £8)

Mini shower gel is something I always forget to pick up before a flight so thank you again for sorting me out Lookfantastic, how did you know exactly what I'd need? I haven't tried this out yet as I'm saving it for my weekend away in Marrakech but it smells amazing and has moisturising properties, dream.

Okay, okay, so maybe I love this box... A girl is allowed to change her mind right?

Pick up your own Lookfantastic Beauty Box here, you can also subscribe for 3, 6 or 12 months making it the perfect Christmas gift! I'm also pretty sure it's the only beauty box that you don't need to subscribe to, you can just pick and choose which ones you want, when you want them!

Watch out for my next post which will be coming to you straight from sunny Marrakech!

  1. I stopped getting beauty boxes because I kept getting stuff I wouldn't use, the Paw Paw ointment is good though I've used it before :)

  2. OMG I was so disappointed this month, when i received a box. I can't believe I paid £15 for the samples that anyone can pick up from the shop for free... :/
