I've spent the last few days in Marrakech completely ignoring the fact that Christmas is getting ever closer (it's less than 50 days away now) but as soon as we landed back in the UK, we were plunged back into the land of glitter, sparkles, Christmas ads and gift sets.
But now it's time to get back into the swing of the festive season with my first Christmas gift edit!
My Vogue subscription is one of my favourite things, it means every month I get an unexpected dose of fashion through my letterbox and an entirely valid excuse to spend a couple of hours poring over the glossy pages. I got mine from Magazine.co.uk, it's only £15 for 6 months!
Luxury beauty is my achilles heel; give me the chance to buy a ridiculous beauty advent calendar and I'm there or an amazing rose gold blusher brush and I'm sold. Last week I headed to Harvey Nichols in Manchester with my friend Kyle to indulge in a few treatments, because it was a Tuesday and we wanted to, what better reason??
Our favourite treatments by far were the mini manicures at Only Fingers and Toes and, of course, everything at Jo Malone. I've never owned a Jo Malone scent before (I have hand cream and minis) so that is very near the top of my Christmas list this year!
I usually ask for practical things for Christmas, 120 denier tights and gym clothes are always top of my list, but this Christmas, I might just go for something I don't need, but rather, something that I want! House of Fraser are talking me into it even more with their rather decadent gift guide, all of the feels around that YSL lipstick...
I've already naughtily purchased the Selfridges advent calendar (with a little help from the Selfridges voucher the lovely people at work got me for my birthday, thank you!) but the Liberty one is also on my list, just look how pretty it is!
I have a thing about his and hers pyjamas, every winter I like to get Joe and I pyjamas, he probably won't want me to share that but pyjamas are kind of my thing, so the more pyjama love I can share, the better! This year Derek Rose pyjamas are on the cards, we just got them in stock on Coggles so I can use staff discount, even better!
What is on your list this Christmas?
