A Few of my Favourite Things

I love Sunday evenings, everything seems a little slower and there is time to take stock of the week. After a busy week and hen do weekend in London, having the time to re-design my blog (what do you think of the new look by the way? It was time for a spring clean!) and write this post is absolute bliss. The Man is at the football so I'm taking advantage of me time to catch up on emails, post and watch a film, dream.

I thought I'd share a few things that I'm loving at the moment, just a few little things that make me happy.

I have been lusting after this Larsson & Jennings watch for SO long (literally years) but have never been able to justify buying it as it's rather pricey. But I finally took the plunge as I had a Farfetch voucher to spend which made the price much easier to cope with!

It has barely left my wrist since it arrived, I usually hate wearing watches as they irritate my skin but this is so smooth I can barely feel it. It's definitely a piece I'll keep and wear for a very long time.

If you know me in real life, you'll know that I don't drink tea or coffee, I really wish I liked the stuff but I can't stand it! But, I can't go through like only drinking water and wine, so I've been dabbling with different caffeine free teas and actually quite enjoying them!

My favourite at the moment is the Peppermint Leaf tea by Taylors, it's delicate and fresh, perfect for a mid afternoon refresher. If you have any recommendations, please let me know, I'm in an experimenting mood!

I've always liked avocado but never really committed to it until now. Over London Fashion Week, Angharad and I popped into Caravan before the Paul Smith show for something to keep us going, we both opted for avocado on toast and it was the most delicious thing ever!

Since then avocado on toast has been my go to quick meal, it only take about 5 minutes to prepare and is packed full of nutrients! Angharad is probably sick of me banging on about avocados at work but I love them dearly and can't help expressing my affection...

Just look at this beauty, it's a vision! I love Lomography and am creating quite a collection, this is the newest addition to the family, the Lomo Instant. I'll do a proper post on this in a few weeks as I'll be taking it to The Man's brother's wedding but I couldn't help a little mention, I can't wait to use it!

Short but sweet, I hope you liked the little peek at my favourite things. Now I'm off to make some avocado on toast and fill in The Man on all of the gossip from the hen do weekend!

  1. I've never tried Avocado, it seems like it would have such a weird texture to it.
