December has arrived and it's time to tackle the Christmas party season! Our Christmas party is in a few weeks and I'm already sorted with my dress (Three Floor as standard) and, with a little help from Revlon, I'm sorted for my make up too!
I've put together a tutorial for the perfect Christmas party look using the Revlon Icons Beauty Box, it has pretty much everything you need in it! It's a limited edition gift set that includes the Bold Lacquer Mascara, New ColorStay Skinny Liquid Liner in Black, ColorStay 16hr Eyeshadow Palette in Siren, SuperLustrous Lipsitck in Revlon Red, Revlon Red Nail Enamel and a guide for how to get Emma Stone's look using the products for just £24.99 (but it's worth £39). It's available at Boots here and makes a great gift too!
So let's get started with the tutorial! Just a warning, you will have to witness my naked face below, apologies if you're easily offended...
Start with a blank canvas so cleanse and moisturise before you apply any make up, I always like to add an illuminator like MAC Strobe Cream before my foundation to make sure my skin already has a bit of a glow. Apply your foundation, concealer and blusher as you normally would, then we're ready to get festive!
Grab the Revlon 16hr Eyeshadow palette (it actually stays put all for 16 hours, absolute dream!) and apply the light mauve shade across the whole lid.
Apply the dark blue shade at the outer edge of your lid, then blend. Use the darkest shade to define your lash lines, top and bottom and your smokey eye is starting to take shape!
Complete your smokey eye with the Skinny Liquid Eyeliner (it has the skinniest brush ever so is great for precise lines) to line and flick to your hearts' content. Curl your eyelashes, then use the Bold Lacquer Mascara to both top and bottom lashes. Top tip, coat the top of your lashes (the side you normally wouldn't touch) first, then apply as normal, this will make them look even bigger and more defined.
I hope you liked my little tutorial, now I just need the parties to start so I can do it all over again!
