Review: Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser

I'm not sure whether it's the weather or my sudden taste for all things sugary (I blame you Christmas!) but my skin has been pretty appalling of late. To combat this I've switched up my skincare routine; swapping to a purifying cleanser, switching to a lighter day moisturiser and a richer night cream. I'll be posting reviews of each of the products that have worked for in the hope that they might inspire you to change up your routine!

First up is the BiorĂ© Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser, a foaming cleanser that draws out dirt and impurities to leave your pores pure and your skin clear. It's perfect if you're suffering from a bit of a breakout like me as it works hard to cleanse deep down, leaving you with a tingly, cooling sensation that just feels squeaky clean.

It is pure black because of the charcoal so it may be a little off putting at first, but simply lather it into a foam then massage into your face. Rinse and the dirt is gone! I may have stolen that from Cillit Bang but it's pretty apt right now.

You only need about half a pump to cleanse your face so the 200ml should last quite a while, I've been using mine for a couple of weeks now and it's barely gone down!

You can try the cleanser for yourself from £4.99 at Boots, click here to take a look. Have you tried any charcoal products?

  1. I'm currently suffering from a horrific mini breakout and have been looking for products. I'll definitely be trotting down to Boots to pick this up!
