Cassandra Verity Green: Neptune's Daughter

It's not every day you spot a handbag with live goldfish swimming around in it, but this is exactly what I stumbled upon this evening and kind of fell in love with...

These pieces are from Central Saint Martin's graduate Cassandra Verity Green's final collection entitled Neptune's Daughter, and you can see why it's named that! With flowing threads, textured knitwear and seafoam green all contrasted with bright pinks and neon greens, not to mention the show stopping goldfish handbags.

The RSPCA did have something to say about the fish of course, but Cassandra ensured her very own pet goldfish were treated with the utmost care. I suddenly have an urge to get some goldfish...

Cassandra hasn't stopped there, with new collections coming out, a collaboration with shoe brand Miista and a few more things under her exuberant sleeve, she's definitely one to watch. Visit her website to find out more.

  1. The whole fish in a handbag thing is slightly strange but I adore these photos, so pretty!
