Tweet Loves: Bumble and Bumble

Since I got my hair did by Bumble and Bumble at the Virgin Lounge, post here, I haven't really looked back... My hair generally looks quite thick but it's actually very fine and needs all the help it can get!

I've tried a myriad of different products over the years but I've finally settled on these few products for my everyday routine.

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Shampoo

This is one of the best shampoos for my hair I've ever tried, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with fine hair who wants thicker, more manageable hair.

It's really lightweight so won't drag you hair down and gives it more oomph.  Plus, it also seals split ends and smooths flyaway hairs, perfect. It also leaves your hair shiny, bright and fresh all day.

As much as it thickens, it doesn't add a huge amount of volume, so if that's what you're looking for, pair this with some Tigi Bedhead Superstar and blow dry for BIG hair.

It is a little on the expensive side at £17.50 but you barely have to use any so it lasts for ages, I'd much rather invest in something I know works than buy a few, cheaper high street versions.

Bumble and Bumble Quenching Conditioner

Because I straighten and blow dry my hair most days, I need to make sure it's conditioned well. This conditioner feeds and repairs my hair, healing it from the daily stresses of hair maintenance.

People always comment on how shiny and glossy my hair is and keeping it well conditioned is probably the key to that, as well as making sure I have regular trims. I only use a small amount on a daily basis, a 250ml bottle of this probably lasts me about 6 months so it's good value for money.

Bumble and Bumble Styling Creme

This isn't quite a mousse or a gel, it's a strange combination of the two and works wonders! It's a perfect partner for the thickening shampoo as it adds volume to roots

Rub a small amount through the lengths of damp hair and then blow dry as normal, it works a treat. You can also use it on dry hair to style, it's perfect for curly hair too, it adds definition and bounce that a normal mousse just wouldn't give you.

It's a very clean consistency and doesn't leave your hands or hair sticky as some other cremes do. It also contains silicon that leaves hair super shiny.

In short, I love Bumble and Bumble! If you're a bit concerned about the price, get your hands on some minis to try the products out before buying full size and I promise you'll fall in love, that's what I did!

  1. I use the Bumble and Bumble shampoo and I love it! :) The only thing I don't like is the scent... to me, it has a rather masculine scent and I like my products to be more flowery and girly. I will give the styling creme a try, it looks useful!
