It's All Good
January was probably my healthiest month ever; no alcohol, very few treats, healthy eating and more gym visits than I can remember!
Changing up my diet to make it healthier but still making sure I got all the nutrition I needed (without being hungry) was tricky, I mainly stuck to soups, water and healthy snacks like fruit and cereal bars. But having an extra boost of vitamins was much needed, I don't think my body quite understood what was going on! Towards the end I started introducing fruit juice into my diet and adding a teaspoon of Fushi's The Best Superfood Green Blend for an extra boost.
It's insane how much goodness is crammed into this vibrant green powder, it includes 17 (yes 17!) superfoods together with vitamin C, B12 and zinc, perfect for detoxing and cleansing. So far, so good with is but I'm going to carry on through February to see if it helps even more with the detox! It does make your juice or smoothie go a rather questionable colour, but it's worth it!
Fushi’s resident nutritionist Ricky Hay has developed the following super food smoothie recipe, to provide you with a daily source of goodness too. Just blend the ingredients below together:
1 teaspoon of Green Superfood Powder
1/4 of a Pineapple
Handful of Berries (can be frozen)Handful of Spinach
I've also been trying to look after my body from the outside as well as from the inside, and this Fushi Really Good Cellulite Oil has been a life saver! I've been regularly exfoliating and moisturising to make sure my skin is as healthy as possible but I switched to using this oil instead of moisturising for my legs, it works a treat!
It reduces the appearance of cellulite, boosts circulation, tones, firms and makes your skin feel smoother. My thighs look so much smoother and feel softer after using it for a few weeks, I can't wait to see what goodness it will do to me...
Take a look at the rest of the Fushi range on their site, there's everything from all natural hair treatments to vitamin supplements.
