Tartan and Brogues

(Shoes c/o Clarks, Coat c/o Next, Jeans from Gap and Shirt from French Connection)

January is still here, delighting us with this grey weather and rainy ways, but the one good thing about the endless British winter is that we can wear winter coats and layers pretty much all year round.

This is my current go to look at weekends: skinny jeans, some for of shirt/top, my tartan coat and a pair of flats. Easy to throw on and comfortable, everyone's a winner! These cut out brogues from Clarks are my new favourite shoes, I can't wait to wear them in Summer with little skirts and dresses! They're a little different to my usual wedges and ankle boots, which makes me like them even more.

I finally decided to let someone at my hair, I'm growing it out so it's been in a weird mullet phase for quite some time, but it was definitely time to sort it out. Against my better judgement, I didn't run straight out when I noticed my male hairdresser was wearing dungarees and let him re-shape my mullet into an actual bob. Finally, normal people hair! What do you think of my new do?

  1. I think it looks ace, really suits you. Sans the dungarees they've done a really good job. Digging the shoes too, I remember seeing some like that on oki-ni and some by rachel comey (is it?). Clarks, good work.
