Wearable Objects by Marina Stanimirovic

Marina Stanimirovic has created jewellery that would be just as at home in an art gallery than it is around someone's neck.

Their collection title 'Wearable objects' perfectly explains what the pieces are, each one can be contorted and manipulated, they're structured yet fluid.

Marina's work makes me want to explore the pieces, play with them and style them up, I love the exposed wood and metal in each one.

  2. Fantastic! My sister studied jewellery and she produces pieces a bit like these - huge pieces of jewellery that looks like sculptures but they are actually wearable! the examiner criticised her work immediately and told her upfront that her work isn't a jewellery and that she would fail. My sister picked a person from the audience (the exam was sort of an exhibition), put one of her state of art necklaces over her neck and asked her to walk around with it - that person obediently walked around the room wearing this necklace and eventually proved the examiner wrong that it is a jewellery and wearable! My sister got the First Class for this!
