A/W Wardrobe: My New Additions

I love winter clothes and it was about time I stocked out on a few new bits to bring my wardrobe from Autumn to Winter. Me and The Man went on an impromptu trip to The Trafford Centre on the way home from work the other day and I picked up some of my new favourite things...

Bertie Prowess Ankle Boots in Black

These are what I've been looking for, they're everything I wanted in an ankle boot - perfect heel height, soft leather and a perfectly rounded toe. I got mine from John Lewis and they're 20% off at the moment which made them even better!

Red Check Kilt from Next

I always love a bit of tartan, I think it's mostly due to me wanting to feel like Cher in Clueless to be honest, and this skirt is perfect. Plus it's a heavy fabric so it's really warm for winter, I pair mine with a chunky cream jumper or a grey marl sweatshirt for work.

Oversized Grey Sweatshirt from H&M

H&M sweatshirts are kind of my Winter staple, I have three in different colours... They're perfect for throwing on when you get back from work with some knee high socks for sitting around at home and good to wear with tights and ankle boots as a dress to venture into the outside world. They're so comfy and only £12.99 (or £7.99 if you got for the short version), frankly it would be rude not to.

What new things have you bought this season?

  1. The shoes look so nice! I saw similar ones in H&M too!

  2. H&M is still great for stuff like that, even the men's section. I got some running stuff in the sale the other day in there for £5 an item. I just bought a wooly green jacket thing in tkmaxx, on the blog soon.

    Buckets & Spades

  3. I got a black floral tube skirt from George at Asda, more for work really and some gorgeous black floral gold toed and heeled shoes from Ravel. Smart and sexy.

  4. The kilt from next is lovely! I love that kind of checked print, especially around this time of the year! It's comfy when it's on jumpers and hoodies too ;)
