One of my favourite things to do is eating, I love going out for meals, staying in to cook, being cooked for... Anything including food to be honest, so it seems rude not to share my culinary experiences with you.
I've written about Neighbourhood in Manchester before for Coggles.com (you can read it here) but this weekend I went there for breakfast for the first time and it did not disappoint. My beautiful cousin Holly has just moved up to Manchester from the South for uni so it seemed only right to take her out for breakfast and show her some of the places we have to offer!
I opted for the bagel with salmon and cream cheese as it's on of my favourites and Holly went for a full English breakfast, she's getting into the swing of student life already! My bagel was toasted to perfection, had just the right amount of cream cheese on (not too much) and was loaded with smoked salmon topped off with chives and black pepper, it was exactly what I wanted to set myself up for the day.
Their breakfast menu includes a range of English, European and American inspired dishes from full English breakfasts and croissants to buttermilk pancakes and newly added cinnamon buns. I wish I wasn't so full from the bagel otherwise I would have sampled some of their sides and sweeter treats!
If you're in Manchester, I thoroughly recommend Neighbourhood for breakfast and dinner, I haven't sampled their lunch menu yet but I'm pretty sure it would be equally as delicious.
