Ravensbourne Graduate Spotlight

I love keeping an eye on graduates over Graduate Fashion Week and watching their development, sadly I didn't have a chance to make it down to Graduate Fashion Week this year so I've been living vicariously through blogs and twitter to get my budding fashion fix.

I got hold of a few runway photos from the Ravensbourne graduate show and have picked out my two favourite designers that I'd love to see way more from.

Emma De Vries

My first choice from the Ravenbourne graduates is Emma De Vries, I love her sleek yet textured designs. The all white look is one of my favourites I've seen this GFW, so beautifully structured with a touch of feathered fabric on the arms.

Emma won the Karen Millen portfolio award and now has a year long internship at Karen Millen ahead of her so I can't wait to see what comes next.

Lydia Krause

Super sporty yet feminine, Lydia Krause's graduate collection ticks a lot of boxes for me. The colour palette is a little bit perfect too with the min greens, citrus orange and creamy white.

The oversized, unstructured garments add a maturity to an otherwise playful collection, making it all a little bit more laid back. I can imagine the look being very different with a shorter hemline and more fitted structure but I wouldn't have it any other way!
