You're Making Me Blush

I was stuck in traffic on my way home (I cleverly chose to live near Old Trafford and it seems to be Derby day, yet again) so decided to take a cheeky detour to Boots to get a new blusher as my old one has been running low for far too long.

But as per usual, I went in for one thing and came out with two... But it was 3 for 2 on make up, who can blame me right? I seem to be able to spend an inordinate amount of time in there choosing between two lipsticks that look exactly the same to the untrained eye, it's becoming quite a skill.

In the end I opted for a Bourjois blush in Rose Ambre which is just the right shade for my skin tone, not too pink and not too bronze, just enough to give me a healthy glow without any of the shiny bits that some Bourjois blushers have. Blusher win!

I then decided to treat myself to a new lip stain and opted for Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable in Lovesick Passionnee. I was expecting it to be less bright than it actually is, but I love the shade it comes out as! It's like a toned tone, easy to wear version of MAC's Girl About Town. It is so bloody easy to apply too, just like a lip balm but with amazing colour, I wish I'd got all the shades!

Mascara was my next and final stop, I usually go for Benefit mascaras but decided to try out the Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping mascara (I think I just want to be Emma Stone to be honest...), I've yet to try it on clean eyelashes but it seems to work really well, has anyone else used it before?

What beauty treats are you loving this Spring?

Also, as Mat has pointed out in the comments, I haven't mentioned my new(ish) hair! What do you think? I'm still getting used to it!

  3. Really well cut and well made. I am very happy with my new jacket in cwmalls.com and recommend this, you can't go wrong with this mens leather jackets. It functions very well during these windy spring mornings, also keeps me stylish.
