So as you can probably see, last week when I went to get my hair cut I decided at the very last minute to get it all chopped off... I think the hairdresser was more scared than I was, she had to have a little bit of a sit down before cutting off my plait! But she got into it and ended up doing a great job leaving me with a new mop I was really happy with, which doesn't always happen when I go to the hairdressers!

Even though it's quite a drastic change, it feels completely normal and I'm not missing my old hair, well not yet anyway! It's been a week now and I still love it, I actually feel more girly and feminine than I did before which I wasn't expecting. I also keep getting ID'd which never, ever happened before so I guess I've taken a few years off by losing the length!

I have no idea what products to use now though so any suggestions would be really appreciated! What do you think of the new look?

  1. Your hair is perfect! I loveee the new look.

  2. So lovely - I've just grown my pixie crop out & pretty much still use all of the same products. A good wax & hairspray was always a must!

  3. oh i love it! it turned out fabulous on you!

  4. I used to have short hair, I've been growing it for a while now, I'm tempted to cut it all off again.

    Love your hair

Please come and check out my latest post if you have a few minutes spare :)

p.s. I’ve given the blog a bit of a face lift!

  5. s'a strong look! suits you sir

  6. Oh gosh I love it! It's really girlie and cute and 1960s.

  7. I always have an itch to chop my hair off, but I'm loving it long now.

  8. Osis "Dust It" is great for creating texture and volume or the VO5 "give me texture: instant oomph powder" works just as well too! Also Bed Head for Men "Matte separation workable wax" is so good and holds much better than wax products aimed at women and again for a cheaper alternative try VO5 matte clay hope this helps and it looks fantastic :) XO

  9. You look gorgeous. So happy you went short - I really just LOVE you with short hair!
