My Beauty Essentials

I'm not having the best 2013 so far so I'm distracting myself from real life with blogging for a little while! I never usually post about make up and beauty things but my sister asked me for beauty tips earlier and I realised that I use a lot of products without even noticing! Plus I mainly work on beauty sites at work so it would be silly not to start introducing it onto my blog every once in a while.

I thought I'd start by showing off my favourite beauty products that I couldn't live without.

1. Vaseline Rosy Lips
I use this all day, every day to keep my lips hydrated with a cheeky little pink tint.

2. Clinique High Impact Mascara
I started using this after I got a sample in a goodie bag after a Selfridges consultation and loved it so much, I haven't used another mascara since. It creates amazing volume, length and separates lashes perfectly.

3. Benefit Boi-ing Concealer
I love Benefit, it's my favourite. This concealer is easily the best concealer I've ever used, it's industrial strength and hides all manner of sins.
4. Benefit Hello Flawless Foundation
This foundation is really light and smooth, it stays put all the live long day and has SPF to boot!

5. MAC Fluidline
My lovely little blonde friend bought me this for my birthday back in October and I've used it every day since, it's so easy to apply, it's as black as black can be and it doesn't even smudge.

6. MAC Russian Red Lipstick
This is hands down my favourite lipstick ever, it's not an every day lipstick of course but whenever it's time to get dressed up and go dancing, the Russian Red makes an appearance. It's the perfect red lippy in my opinion!

My collection of hair products is getting a little bit insane, I might have to do a haircare essentials post soon too!

What are your beauty essentials?

  1. Russian Red is definitely one of my essentials, too. Perfectly flattering red on any skin tone, it's what I wear to pull off colors I'd otherwise look bad in

  2. Hmmmm, I am in desperate need of new mascara so this could be in the running! Blogging is quite the distraction from real life. I have to remind myself that I have to cope with the real world too..

  3. I should buy fluid line too, I have no idea how have I always used just black eye pencil to do , fluidline seems to be much easier and better option…
