Seeing as it is Halloween today I thought I'd post something a little on the creepy side. I've posted about Aoi Kotsuhiroi in the past (see here!) so am rather familiar with the morbid oddness that comes with the one of kind pieces and their styling.

These images are much less about the styling than the previous collections, the focus is the jewellery, and rightly so as it's just a little bit stunning.

For more info and images, visit Aoi's website.

White Tent

I was going to post some Halloween-y things this weekend but then I accidentally fell in love with White Tent instead, perhaps the least Halloween appropriate collection ever.

I would quite like to make this my staple wardrobe for next Summer but know that all my lumpy bumpy bits would not suit the oversized pieces and people would think I was Fertile Myrtle...

But, just how perfect is that trench coat?

I haven't posted a photo of my ugly mug on here for a while and I'm a bit under the weather at the moment so here's a filler post of my hair! It's actually changed colour since then, so it's now dark brown, but it's the same really!

The dress I'm wearing is from A|Wear and I loves it. I'll be back to normal (hopefully!) soon, promise!

EDIT: To see my outfit of choice while I'm ill, click here to see my other blog of doodles.

Theresa Burger

My relationship with jewellery has never been a particularly loving one, I always wear a silver heart ring and plain silver studs in my ears but that's pretty much the extent of it. I decided last week that I would start wearing more jewellery and later that day my mum bought me a cute rabbit ring and Amy offered to send me some Gogo Phillip jewellery, it's a sign!

So I have been lusting over these wooden beauties by Theresa Burger (who's past collections are worth a perv on as well!), they are beautifully shaped and sculpted, in shapes that you don't often see in wood. I especially love the massive earring and may have to fashion one myself if I can't get my hands on the real thing...

Ara Jo

Hello ridiculous amount of shiny things and a crown, would you like to be my friends?

I need to stop starting blog posts in a ridiculous manner, apologies for that, I just really want a shiny crown. These images (shot by Naomi James) are of Ara Jo's S/S 2011 collection, which is a little bit stunning. I think my favourite part of it is the tower of sheer maxi skirt or the sculptural techniques used throughout.

Erin Wasson for Scanlan and Theodore

Definitely want to be (/on) Erin Wasson right now.

These images were shot by Nan Goldin for the Scanlan and Theodore lookbook, I basically just want to climb into these photos and curl up on the velvet settee. The clothes are in the most perfect colours, they remind me of ripe fruit and jewels, they fit in perfectly to this luxuriously shabby setting.

I would really like Erin Wasson's hair right now, but I keep accidentally getting mine cut so even if I tried I wouldn't have hair like this for like a year! Ah well, the bowl cut is behaving at the moment so that's something.

For more info, visit the Scanlan and Theodore website.

Take Me Away

These images are from Juliane Eirich's series of photographs entitled 'Korea Diary', documenting her journey through Seoul, South Korea whilst she was there studying.

These photos alone make me want to go to Korea, actually they just make me want to go anywhere. I know I've done my fair share of travelling this year but it only makes me want to do more! I also really want to go to Paris again, the last time I went I was about 14 and thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated it, but I quite fancy being there as a 'grown up'...

So achievable Paris first and then the dizzy heights of Korea, who's with me?

Visit Juliane's website for more images and info.

Rachel Freire Concept

I was just browsing through Rachel Freire's website and decided to have a look through her previous concept work. These images are so simple yet so stunning, I couldn't leave them there really...

Her mainline is always quite conceptual anyway, but, throw in an element of costume, the antlers come out and everything gets jumped up a gear.

Have a look at more of her costume and concept work here.

Hasan Hejazi by Rankin

I love Hasan Hejazi's designs, they're beautifully designed, tailored and the colour choices are a little bit sublime.

These beauties are from his S/S 2011 collection and they were shot by the one and only Rankin. The mixture of almost dominatrix style lingerie with sheer fabric and velvet makes me weak at the knees.

If anyone feels like purchasing me the dress on the bottom left, I will not say no...
