London Fashion Week is drawing ever closer, NYFW is in full swing and it seems we will have a lot to live up to...
One of my favourite things about Fashion Week is seeing the lesser known, emerging designers grace the catwalk. Pretty much the best place to find young, fresh talent is Vauxhall Fashion Scout One's To Watch, which I blab on about every LFW, because, you know it's awesome.
Someone I'm really looking forward to seeing this season is Georgia Hardinge. Her designs are perfectly wearable yet so not commercial. I don't often sport the sheer look myself (entirely due to having too much body that needs to be hidden away) but I think I'd have to make an exception for these beauties.
Oh wow,brilliant!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, if I ever wanted my hips emphasized, I would go for some of her designs. Very intricate and detailed work!
ReplyDeletep.s. I got the goodies you sent me, and so happy about them! Thank you!

ReplyDeleteI like these, a lot more interesting than the standard evening dress. Sheer can be sexy, not sure I'd go out in dress number 3 though without some big-ass bloomers on! jazzy ♥
ReplyDeletei really like the strong lines here mixed with the sheer fabrics.

ReplyDeleteLoving her work too. I have asked for a ticket. Do you have one? Xxxx
ReplyDeleteI really like the black patterned around-body "webs" (? not really webs, but I hope you know what I mean!) Great layering - always a bonus!

What I like about these is how she mixes delicate and feminine fabrics with structural elements, creating a juxtaposition that remains effortless yet sophisticated.
ReplyDeleteThe last one is brilliant.
