Millie Betito

It's always nice to see a Manchester based (for Uni anyway!) designer with a stunning collection, so much focus always goes to the big guns like London College of Fashion and Central St Martins, which is why I love Graduate Fashion Week as everyone gets equal exposure.

Millie Betito is one of these designers, the images above made me fall pretty much instantly in love with her collection. The tiered pleats remind me of Dior's New Look dresses but with a modern twist, something very much appreciated by my eyes.

To see more of her work, have a look at her ftape profile.

  6. Indeed the shape takes queue from Dior, yet still has her own twist to it. Literally. I do like her iregular folds and the way she's working with volume. Go Manchester! ;)
