Beauty and Water

Underwater photography will always make me weak at the knees and these images, captured by Andrew Brauteseth, are truly no exception. Everything looks so much more beautiful, so perfect and ethereal beyond belief under the water.

My favourite is the first, two faced image, she looks so peaceful for someone whose face is stuck in the water. If it was me I'd be coughing and screwing my eyes up so my contact lenses didn't float out, not quite so elegant...

  7. I totally agree with you. Underwater photography is amazing and that 1st shot is sooooo so strong. Only someone who spends a lot of time in the water could have seen that. Thank you for finding and showing us. Xxxx

  10. Ahhh, subaquatic photography is simply the best. One of my favourite editorials of all time will always be Subaquatic Beauty by Alix Malko. I posted it back in the first days of my blog's birth; http://heleendb.blogspot.com/2008/10/subaquatic-beauty-by-alix-malko.html , unfortunately I can't seem to find it somewhere else on the internet...

  15. Just thought I'd jump in here and say I've been really liking your blog, there's some great work on show here: a good mix but it all flows nicely. Rather than the haphazard clutter I stumble across too often :/
