Malaysia Adventures: Chapter Two

Extreme close up time from my travels in Malaysia, when looking back through my photos I realised I had a more than healthy amount of photos of tiles... They were just all so beautiful and colourful, so I decided to dedicate a post to them.

Oddly enough, while having a tour of a temple in Malacca (where I also met the lovely Sarah from BANMS) we were told that the tiles all came from Stoke-On-Trent which is about 15 minutes away from my house in England, very weird.

I hope you like these, the picture of my feet on the tiles is pretty much the only photo of me that I took but I have just got a usb stick full of them from my Grandmother so I shall be posting some of those soon!

  3. Oh wow, you can see why so many artists have been inspired by original interior design like this. I love all of your photos so far! I can't believe you got to see so much in a relatively short amount of time, jealous much?! I went to China last year, and the temples there made my head roll, literally. The scale and ornate decoration of everything over there is just insane.

  7. this post totally just satisfied my pattern obsession. Love this images. Especially the one with your tosies in it :) The green nail polishe look lovely against the light blue tile!

I also, and quite often when traveling, end up taking a million pictures of a particular aspect of my trip haha at least it's something as pretty as tiles! Once I focused on dead ocean...gorgeous in person, boring photos..
