Sylwia Rochala

I just have to get a teensy little thing out of the way before the post, just because I'm excited about it like the blogging nerd I am. Yesterday, Susie Bubble said, and I quote, "fast becoming my most fave blog these days..." about me! I'm sure this seems silly to be happy about to most, but Susie was my inspiration for starting a blog and is still my favourite so it means a lot to me...

Anyway, that over, time to get back to business. As you all know, I like to wander around the internet seeing what delights I can stumble over and then ramble about them to you. Today's delight is Sylwia Rochala, a young, polish designer who creates some stunning work. Sadly, she's pretty much the exact same age as me and I'm nowhere as talented, ah well...

The pictures above are my favourite examples of her work, I found them on her NJAL profile and are just a teaser for her new collection. Judging by these images, we can expect a lot from the new collection (entitled 'Shame and Fortune') and if they are anything like this, I can't wait to see more!

As usual, I love the styling behind these images, they suit the clothes and the mood perfectly. My favourite is the second one down, I love her expression, the dress, the headpiece, pretty much everything...

For more info, go and check out her very lovely website.

p.s. The prizes for the 200 (google) followers giveaway are getting exciting, I want them...

  1. Jajaja, I've read what Susie said and was so happy for you! I saw her post on Weekday and was thinking 'hey, i've seen this before at Clare's, and then I saw what she said. Congrats! It's reassuring to see that the ones who inspire you, also appreciate what you're doing.

  19. The first photograph is definitely my favorite, I love the softness in the model's face. The last picture is too posed compared to the others, in my opinion.

  22. aha, look at you, mixing with the blogging world aristocracy!
the head piece in the second photo really caught my eye, i don't even know if it's a piece of hers of simply an addition to the (rather lovely looking) model's entire ensemble, but super in case!
