I rarely ever dedicate a post to jewellery but whenever I do there's always chains involved. I'm not secretly some kind of kinky sex fiend, honest, I just like things that are a little bit different.
Katie Rowland has an element of normality and some rather commercial pieces in her most recent collection, pictures above, but it's the slightly stranger ones that caught my eye. The gorgeous, amber knuckle duster worn by the model as if she were on the cover of i:D and the golden nipple tassles being the stand out beauties. I don't know about you but nipple tassles have always scared me, these however, in their golden glory, look subtle and rather beautiful. A word I never thought I'd be using to describe nipple adornments... Plus I love the whole 70's feeling I get from this shoot.
Her previous collections are interesting too, my favourite being a ring with raised letters to act as a stamp when rolled through ink, which you can even get personalised with your phone number as the best business card ever.
Apologies for all the nipple talk on a Sunday morning! But for more info and a look at her previous collections, visit Katie's website. Images from her NJAL profile.
Don't forget, there's still plenty of time to enter my giveaway to win Laura Mackness clothes and Benefit make up goodies, click here to enter!

ReplyDeletethe jewelery here is gorgeous, especially the big chunky chain.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful shoot. I love the bracelets in picture number 4. This has a twisted fairy tale charm about it, like something Rapunzel might get up whilst locked in her tower...
ReplyDeleteI love chain jewelry too. My favorite is the third picture, the necklace and the essence of the photo itself.
ReplyDeleteLove her freckles!
ReplyDeleteLovely jewellery. The big bracelet in pic no. 4 is my favourite. The nipple decoration should always make for some spicing-up in the bedroom (or under sheer blouses, maybe?)
ReplyDeleteI love all the jewellery, especially the way she models it in the photographs. The photography is just... wow.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Lovely jewellery. I like the 3rd shot best. Thank you as ever for bringing us interesting people.

ReplyDeleteHa, I love this! There is never a better time for nipple talk than a Sunday morning, in my opinion. I agree though--pasties are not the classiest things around, but somehow, these are, as you say, subtle and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI've been seeing a lot of nipple jewelery lately is this a new trend?

ReplyDeleteIf you love necklaces that make a statement, you should see the riviera collection necklaces! The diamonds graduate in size and add some serious sparkle.
