TV: The Label

So first thing's first, do you know how hard it is to find recent info on a brand when they are called TV is? The answer is bordering on impossible! Thankfully I remembered the designers names after a bout of memory jogging and found their A/W '10 collection and forgot about all the confusion it had taken to get there.

Monika Tywanek and Ingrid Verner are the brains behind Australian brand TV, supplying us with hard edged womenswear for a few years now. Their A/W '10 collection, entitled 'Nothing but Flowers',  contains pretty much all of my favourite things. I mean, who doesn't want floral jumpsuit, comfy looking onesies, knitted fox scarves and high waisted underwear? Not I for sure!

I also love the way that they have chosen a rather tomboy-ish model who reflects the collection perfectly, quite hard edged and full of attitude yet still distinctly feminine.

Do you agree with me about this being a gorgeous collection or would you run a mile at the sight of a floral jumpsuit?

For more info, visit their website. Also on closer googling inspection, I found out that they are stocked at Amelie Boutique so us non Australian folk can get our hands on some.

Do come over and join me on twitter too, I need to start doing more fashion tweeting!

  2. i am particularly taken by the floral (and random) prints that accompany the majority of these outfits. each one so intricately defines the different looks to add something unique. i LOVE them all!

  3. My favorite piece from this lot is the chartreuse blouse. I love bright colors and can think of a dozen or so ways to wear it! In response to your question, I'm not really a big fan of jumpsuits; it's just a personal thing. But I applaud your individuality in including the floral one here! Goodness knows I like and wear a ton of things that other people think of as weird.

  10. hell, i want that fox immediately! Donna Wilson has something really similar, but in 2d (if that makes any sense) but this one is divine! not only that, but the florals are old-fashioned and divine, the big black capey jacket is a godsend, the red and floral jumpsuits are perfect, and the final dress is just superb. suuu uuu perb.
